Barron Trinity Bulls

It began with the forging of the CDRU. But they were all of them deceived, for a new team was formed.

In the land of North Queensland, in the rainforests of Daintree, the dark lord Collins amalgamated a team in secret (Barron River and Trinity Beach). A master team to control all others. And into this team he poured all his “goose-steps” and “no-look-passes” and his will to dominate rugby tournaments.
One team to rule them all.

History became legend. Legend became myth. And for 35 years this team has dominated in their prevailing region.

The 2010 resurgence of this formidable army is on the back of a successful 2009 campaign to rid the CDRU of all its silverware and precious trophies. Following this historic victory the Chief council have decided to march southward.

The team summoned to battle upon Mount Bondi is a combination of very pretty Elvin backs and fierce Orc forwards. Previous campaigns to this region of Middle Earth have resulted in many an Elvin back lost to the clutches of Oxford Street, and the fiery pits of Mardi Gras.

Under the leadership of DI Gimpli and his apprentice NC Legless, the backs have vowed to honour their homeland on this epic journey. Shock and Awe is an apt appraisal of their battle tactics. (Shocking ability and awfully pretty).

Don’t be surprised if we only send an Orc army onto the arena for fear of yet another back inspired defeat.

The campaign will be concluded with the famous DS “Smeegol on the dancefloor” awakening. Upon this signal the army is to return north, hopefully with some spoils of war to present to the dark lord.
