The K.B.R.U.F.C was formed in 2004 when a group of rugby “has beens” from various clubs around Australia decided to trek across the Kokoda Trail in Papua New Guinea. Those who participated in the challenge found themselves sharing in a highly emotional and challenging experience.

While most of us are has- beens when it comes to rugby, we thought the Bondi 10's would be a good excuse to get back together and have a bit of a run.
During the mandatory post trek celebrations in Port Moresby the idea to form a barbarian style rugby side was hatched. The team now gathers a few times a year to relive past glories and to explore the inverse relationship that exists between their waist and hair lines, whilst embarrassing themselves on and off the field.

Playing for the drink, not the glory and with a couple of ring- ins to carry us, we certainly looking forward to getting together for a beer afterwards - if not so much for the rugby itself.
