Team Ramrod

The Liverpool Plains in North West NSW is known for many things. Soil so fertile it grows babies, the world’s best farming country, farmer’s daughters, and Team Ramrod headquarters.
Team Ramrod emerged a few years ago after a group of Quirindi Rugby players banded together to take on the local touch footy comp, and their local watering hole afterwards. Since then Team Ramrod has evolved into the most sought after membership since the SCG Trust. Members hail from right throughout Country NSW to the bright lights of Sydney, and the state of Vermont in the USA which is where our coveted Team Patron, Rod Farva, calls home.
The Team meets 4-5 times a year to discuss various world issues, team tactics, and increase the bar sales of which ever lucky location they choose to grace with their presence.
After the success of the team’s inaugural Bondi 10’s outing in 2008, it’s members have been counting the sleeps until it is time to do it all over again in 2009. The bar has been raised in all aspects of the team’s intentions for the 2009 outing, with the prestigious “best dressed team on ground” firm in the Team’s sights for the second year running.
We look forward to seeing you all again in 2009, so feel free to drop by the marquee for a beer, groupie, or autograph.
